Movie Review: Stormbreaker

Movie Review: Stormbreaker (M)

I loved the novel, it made me want to keep reading. Somehow the movie didn't really impress me.
It's about a 14 year old boy, called Alex, who's uncle has died in a "car accident". He soon fines out that his uncle is actually a spy and has been secretly training Alex to become a spy! He is recruited at M16 and then sent to a training camp, where he is given some hard time. After finishing the training camp he is sent on his first mission, to spy on Darrius Sayle, the billionaire in charge of a new computer system called "Stormbreaker".
The book is action packed, but the movie is like a walk in the park, the makers of the movie took out bits of action and suspense.
They also added things that were unnecessary, like taking Sabina Pleasure and puting her in this movie, and changing the villians name Herod Sayle to Darrius Sayle, I mean why the hell would you do that?
If you love the book, you should watch the movie, otherwise, don't bother.

Rating: 2/5
